>> This has to be the biggest shock of the night as far as best result goes. Josh Osby ab- solutely blew the doors off of expectations tonight in Minneapolis. In this one round alone the rookie was able to score more points then he has all season. The Club MX / RSR / Redemption racing rider started his day off good qualifying in 8th with a 52.142. The KTM mounted rider got off to great starts all night long with his worst start being a 6th and his best being a holeshot.
In the rst race Osby was awarded the Holeshot at the end of the rst rhythm section he was out side of a top 5 position in 6th. On lap three Osby had some troubles and moved back to 9th position where he would go on to nish. Race #2 Osby came out in 6th and al- though he dropped a few positions early on he was able to nd some speed and get back to nish just out of the top ve in 6th. In the nal main event Osby got his bike out front of the eld and lead the rst two laps of the race. This also marked Josh’s rst time leading a main event in his professional career. Eventually the #174 was pushed back to 5th by Osborne, Martin, Forkner, and Smith. Josh stayed in 5th for much of the race and then started to deal with pressure with the next tier of riders. By the nish Osby landed in 9th. This has been Osby’s best night of racing as a professional, even his rst 9th place nish was a career best.
This is Josh’s rst year riding for this team and the manager at Redemption Racing must be pleased to see their rider doing so well nearing the end of the season.
