>> The rookie of Brandon Hartranft has de antly been noticed this year in 2018 with
his top ve speed and ability to throw down a fast lap in qualifying. In fact this weekend Brandon quali ed 5th fastest with a 51.165, he was the fastest non factory bike also. The #114 started in 10th in main event #1. Hartranft came into a corner on the gas when while chasing the eld. Unfortunately for him Jacob Williamson fell just ahead of him leaving Brandon with no where to go but into the rear end of Williamson’s bike. This put Brandon in last place and 24.6 seconds behind the leaders. By the time he got back up and going he was over eleven seconds down of 21st. Mid way through the race Hartranft was still at the back of the pack only picking up two positions, leaving him in 20th. On the nal lap Brandon was able to get around four riders to give him 16th. Main event #2 was much better for the Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha rider as he started in 7th and battled his way to nish 5th. In the nal main event Brandon started mid pack. A lot of determination went on under the helmet of Hartranft as he forced his way through the eld to nish an impressive 4th. If it wasn’t for Brandons rst race mishap he more then likely would have nished closer to 5th overall. Either way 7th is Hartranfts second best result this year and he knows the speed is there. Two races are left this season and im sure the #114 is looking to make a statement before heading into the motocross season.
