DAKOTA ALIX
It suuuuucks breaking your collarbone. And finishing a race with a broken collarbone is pretty gritty,
especially at Daytona. Just rolling around that track had to have been terrible. Dakota Alix is back on the injury wagon, like his gauntlet of knee surgeries back in 2014. Alix, who has been training at MTF since 2010, says that 2015 was a learning year for him and that he knew he wasn’t ready or even properly prepared after 2014. He seems to have learned a thing or two from last year. He put in an impressive ride at the first East Coast round in the ATL, grabbing a gnarly holeshot in his heat race and a solid 12th in the main after some first turn troubles. Clavicle recovery is nothing compared to knee surgery, so look for Dakota to come back strong again soon.
