What an amazing night for the privateer rider as he scores his career best finish 9th. Coates was finally able to show what he is able to accomplish on a dirt bike as this is his first race of the season where he didnt have bike malfunctions. The Brit was able to finish ahead of quite a few of the factory backed riders on his privateer effort Tilube Honda, proving that he has something to offer the teams. Paul managed to get through the tricky holeshot with a top 10 start and managed to stay there till the end.
