Justin Hill wasted no time proving his speed was not a fluke in Toronto. Justin came out in first timed practice and absolutely dominated, beating everyone else’s time by nearly a full second. Hill qualified in the number 1 position and would go into the night show with confidence. When
250 Heat 2 began, Justin jumped off the gate but was edged out and came around the first corner in 4th. He made short
work of the field and was in 2nd place before lap 3 began. With nearly 4 seconds between Justin and first place, the win was out
of reach. He cut the lead down to 1.5 seconds by the end but would still go to the Main ready to win. The gate was set for the Main and when it dropped the crowd was on their feet. After a very hectic first lap with many crashes, Hill found himself surrounded by his teammates in 3rd place. On lap 4, Hill made a clean pass on his teammate for the lead, and the rest was history. He would win with a commanding 21 second lead over Jeremy Martin. Look for Justin to continue this momentum for the rest of the season.
