BLAKE BAGGETT

Former 250 motocross champion Blake Baggett has now transitioned to the professional ranks aboard the major Suzuki Factory team. It is no surprise that Blake moved to Suzuki while moving to the 450 program as he and James Stewart (who is the teams top rider) are close friends, and Baggett actually started his professional career on a RMZ-250 before being picked up by the power horse team of Monster Energy Pro
Circuit Kawasaki. The transition to the 450 class has not gone as expected, there has been signs that Blake can ride the 450 well but we haven’t seen his true potential yet. Injuries have been a problem for the young 450 rider and just as soon as you think the kinks are coming out another injury happens and that has been the story for Baggett thus far in his 450 career.
Blake was making another comeback from an early season injury of a broken collarbone. As he entered the sands of Southwick at round 7 the #4 looked to be sand surfing very well. A crash in practice left Blake with a re broken collarbone and will sit out the rest of the season. Heal up BB#4 we are looking forward to your healthy return.
