MARTIN DAVALOS
The man from Ecuador has shown signs of brilliance since coming to America and at times is one of the fastest 250 riders on the track. Unfortunately major crashes seem to keep happening to Davalos and when you are crashing at such high speeds you get injured more often then not. When Martin signed his
contract with Pro Circuit Kawasaki things looked to turn in a positive direction almost immediately. Davalos was winning supercross main events and even was the series points leader in 2014, a crash put Martin out for the season ending his championship hopes. The team and Davalos ended up parting ways and in 2016 we seen him under a new factory Husqvarna tent and things looked good as he one the season opener and fought hard for a podium finish at round 2 in Daytona. The series was heading north of the border for round 3 in Toronto, Canada. Due to visa issues Davalos was unable to go across the Canadian border and unfortunately lost his points lead. The rest of the year was up and down and if it hadn’t been for an absent round 3, Davalos may have won his first professional title. It seems like @mdavalos49 is significantly better on the indoor supercross tracks, rather than the traditional outdoor motocross tracks, 2017 could be his year.
