fought on the edge of the top ten in the ultra competitive 250 B class and narrowly missed out on the title in the 450 B Limited class by just one position. The Baja Brawl would serve as his first big race in the pro class and it was extremely evident from the start of practice that the Yamaha rider is ready for the next rung
of the ladder. He began the weekend off on a positive note with a podium in the first 250 A moto after flying out of the gate to a second place start. Rodbell found himself in the tire tracks of Team Green Kawasaki’s Lance Ko- busch and he attempted to stick within striking distance of the Missouri native, but he fell just a touch off the pace of the Kawasaki rider. It wasn’t long until he fell under pressure from fellow Yamaha rider, Tanner Stack, and the two of them duked it out for the final two spots on the podium throughout the midway stage of the moto. Stack was able to make the pass stick and Rodbell settled into third position with only a couple of laps remaining, cruising to a com- fortable third place finish ahead of TJ Albright.
