KAED KNIFFING
Kaed Kniffing has managed to get off to a solid start in 2018, racking up a multitude of podium finishes throughout the first few months of the calendar year. The California native made the short trek to Pala Raceway for the 2018 FMF Cal Classic and kept his hot streak alive, recording a handful of moto wins and podium finishes. Kniffing contested both Schoolboy classes as well as the 125cc (12-16) B/C class aboard his Rides Unlimited BTO Sports backed KTM and he never strayed far from the front of the pack. Kniffing really put his best foot forward in both 125 classes, proving himself as one of the fastest riders on the hard packed California soil. He won two out of three motos in the 125cc (12-16) B/C class, but an eighth place finish after a poor start in moto one brought his overall result down to fourth place. Nonetheless, the Rides Unlimited BTO Sports Amateur Racing rider redeemed himself in the Schoolboy 1 division, finishing all three races on the podium. Kniffing started off with a third place result in the first moto, but he was able to find another gear in moto two and moto three, taking the victory in both.
