When you look at the list of minicycle stars that’ve come from the state of Florida, you can surely be in awe, by professionals of both current and past, calling the state home. With greats
like Stewart and Carmichael setting the standard, guys like Jordan Renfro have grown up hearing tall tales of their elders, listening to storytellers de- scribe their accomplishments like that of a fantasy illusion. But there’s the difference, as many ordinary citizens shy away from chasing their dreams, and guys like Mr. Renfro yearn for greatness on a daily basis. Weekend after weekend, Jordan can be found reaching for the stars, and placing his machine in the top-tier of every event. With top five finishes at Loretta Lynn’s, and pretty much every other respected national on the tour, Renfro is no stranger to the front of the field. He’s got a resilient attitude, and a drive to succeed; which is a daunting combina- tion for success in the future.
PRESTON BOESPFLUG
Lurk the countryside of Battle Ground, Washington, and take moment to truly get a deep breath of this crisp, soothing air. It’s here, as the name infers, that the town- ship is made up of true warriors, willing to lay it all on the line, for pride and self-worth. Preston Boesplflug embodies the spirit of his hometown proudly, willing to test the most treacherous tracks and competition on the national circuit, only to disperse the success and glory to those who are close to him. Take his third place at Loretta Lynn’s last year, in the 65cc (7-11) class. While many would be quickly to bask in the success themselves, Preston was quick to thank his support group for all that they’ve aided him with, up until this point in his career. Extremely selfless, and a never give up attitude, make him a fan favorite. Everyone is taking notice, and will be cheering him on from the fences, for the rest of his career.
