Willis, Texas based KTM Orange Brigade rider Challen Tennant killed it at the Thor
Winter Olympics. The #71 KTM rider won all but two championships that he came for, six in total when all was said and done. After missing several major events due to lingering injuries, Tennant has now made a full recovery and is taking the Intermediate ranks by storm. Challen started things off with two national titles on the Supercross track, sweeping the 250 B Limited class and taking the main event win in the Schoolboy 2 (13-16) B/C division. When Challen stepped outdoors, he raced with a dominant intensity that few matched throughout the rest of the week. Tennant pushed his KTM to four champi- onship sweeps, claiming both moto wins and the title in the 250 B, 250 B Limited, 450 B, and 450 B Limited class along the way. His efforts on the Gatorback track also won him the Scott Golden Goggle Award! Tennant had a great first week back and if he remains healthy this is only the beginning.
Suzuki backed amateur ripper Crockett Myers has been stirring things up quite a bit this
week in the 85cc ranks. Myers lit things up early in the day leading the rest of the 85 (9-11) Limited Division 2 class around the fast Mini O’s Motocross track. With his adrenaline pumping, Myers blasted around the track with precision choosing great lines and using every inch of the track to keep his race leading momentum rolling. The 85 (9-11) Limited class is going to be a knock down drag out once the gate drops in later motos this week.
