>> Adam Cianciarulo was the most hyped up amateur racer moving to the professional ranks since Mike Alessi. Sadly, Adam hasn’t been able to live up to his potential. Sure he has won main events and has even had the points lead in supercross series’ but no professional titles have made their way to Cianciarulos wall of fame. Since turning pro in 2013 Adam has only finished one complete outdoor season which was just a year ago. After finally getting a full year under his belt of racing profes- sional it seems like AC is finally back to his old self and is back into his groove. Adam entered round 3 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Cham- pionship 2nd in points behind Zach Osborne. Cianciarulo nearly got the holeshot in the first moto of the day but got pushed wide by both Jeremy and Alex Martin before the prestigious line. Adam made short work of Jeremy to make his way into second, unfortunately a few corners later Adam tipped over in a left hand corner. Luckily Adam was able to limit the damage by keeping his machine running and getting back up as soon as possible. After the opening five minutes of the moto, AC was
up to 8th position and pushing towards the top 5. At the midway point Adam was able to make the move on Mitchell Harrison for 5th. Adams teammate Austin Forkner forced his way by and Adam was able to fol- low Forkner around Aaron Plessinger with two laps to go, finishing three positions ahead of Osborne. Adam once again was running near the top 5 in moto two until with about 3-4 laps remained and he pulled off the track. There hasn’t been an announcement on what happened to Adam or his bike yet. AC also dropped back to 7th in title standings.
