Jeremy’s morning started off well in Tennessee. The rough and rutted track suited Jeremy’s style and he was excited to race. When the first moto began, Jeremy got off to a good start but was nearly taken down in the first turn chaos. He was able to hold it together and was running 12th place by the end of lap two. Jeremy made his way into 11th quickly but was struggling to move forward as they neared the halfway point. Jeremy took advantage of a few mistakes from riders in front of him and had finally slipped inside the top ten with just five minutes left on the clock. Jeremy was following his older brother through the pack
and they began to make passes. Then, Alex went down and Jeremy obviously took the position. He was now sitting 6th and was looking like his old self again. He would finish there and look for redemption in the next one. When moto two began, Jeremy got a similar start and crossed the line on the first lap in 11th position. He made some quick passes early and was pressuring for 8th by lap three. He made the move and capitalized on the mistakes of the riders in front of him to secure 7th position by the halfway point. He made another pass on Swiss rider Tonus, and was nearing the 5th place rider. With three laps to go, one of the fastest riders on the track was indeed Jeremy and he closed in on 5th place, Smith. He then was able to make the pass with just a lap and a half to go. Jeremy would go 6-5 for 5th overall in Tennessee.
