ARNAUD TONUS
Motocross is an extremely competitive sport. These athletes work day in and day out to be the best they possibly can be each time they are on the track. Although motocross racers have a drive to win like no other, the teams in the pits do as well. Every year teams scout for a new rider that they think will
take their team to the top. Whether its an experienced veteran rider they can take under their wing and hope for success,
a rookie out of the amateur ranks they believe they can mold into a champion, or an accomplished over seas rider that they can hire to win here in America, these teams search for anyone just to make sure their sponsors get thanked on the podium. After a few years of no championships, Pro Circuit Kawasaki team manager Mitch Payton hired Arnaud Tonus from Switzerland to come race in America hoping he will bring the team back to its winning ways. Things have not gone exactly to plan as 2016 has been off to a slow start for Arnaud Tonus. After suffering from Epstein-Barr in the beginning of the year, Tonus struggled to get through the Monster Energy Supercross series. Although he still managed a few top ten finishes, this is not what Mitch Payton was hoping for. The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series is again off to a slow start for Tonus, but he has shown some flashes of brilliance. With an 8th place being his best moto finish thus far, Arnaud and the entire Pro Circuit Kawasaki team hope to see the #66 inside the top five and fighting for podiums.
