The Yamaha rider got a good start in the semi, makes some passes and is able to finish second and move onto the Main. The main event followed around the same pattern getting a decent start Reed quick- ly began to make as many passes as he could. Going from thirteenth to eleventh in just a few laps. He begins a battle between ninth and tenth throughout the race and eventually is able to hold down ninth and jump through the checkers.
