Brock Tickle has come back from injury like nothing ever happened. The RCH Suzuki rider got a good start in his heat race sitting around tenth place. He worked his way passed Friese into ninth and then Seely made a mistake moving Tickle up into eighth. He was able to pass one more rider and finish off his heat race in seventh. Moving onto the semi, Tickle got a good start again. He hardly missed a big pile up and was able to finish off in second and move on to the main event. During the main event Tickle was running around thirteenth on lap one. A few laps in Peick made a mistake and caused a pile up between Tickle, Barcia, and Weimer, causing him to lose quite a few positions. After recovering from the crash Tickle was in 20th, luckily it was early on in the race so he had the time to work his way back up. By lap ten he moved up to sixteenth. Fighting all the way through the end of the race Tickle was able to finish fourteenth.
