>> Looking deep into the goggle lens of the number twenty-three machine, you’re quick to realize just how key con dence is in this sport. Aaron Plessinger, a young man who was once categorized as a tad inconsistent, and maybe a bit erratic with both starts and nishes, has now completely reversed his notion for the 2019 season. Since the season’s inception, he’s been a serious contender, leaving no stone-unturned moto after moto. However, it was though Red Bud was his coming out party, absolutely dominating one of the toughest tracks on the schedule, leaving Millville a place for duplicating efforts. The rst moto seemed to be just what the doctor had ordered, as a fourth place start had him sitting pretty going into the rst few laps. Inching past Austin Forkner, he then sat behind teammate Justin Cooper, where he would pass on lap four. It was then just he and Smith, contending for the lead. He would gain on the KTM through the rougher portions of the track, manualing the bike whenever possible, yet displaying a technicality of Supercross skills, leaping through certain sections of chop. He was on the brink of Jordon Smith on lap ve, and coming down the latter portion of Mt. Martin, he would decide to make the move. Absolutely obliterating the braking point of the hill, he held the throttle on a tad bit longer, pushing Jordon Smith to the outside. Plessinger would then precede to lay the hammer down, clicking off absurd laptimes in consecutive manner. The win would be his for the taking, leaving the rest of the eld to settle within his dust. For the second round, Aaron Plessinger would make quick work of Alex Martin, taking the lead early. This spelt bad news for the rest of the eld, as the number twenty-three would continue to roll as the laps ticked away. Rummaging through this grotesque chop, he was so ef cient with his line selection. Never dabbling the foot, or ceasing his rolling speeds throughout these corners, it was as though anywhere he went, he would do so in a quick manner. He would leave the rest of the pack, truly blazing a trail of his own. With mechanic and crew clapping throughout the paddock and fence line, he knew the extent of his winning ways were about to lengthen. Plessinger was truly dialed in the land of Minnesota, and as he came across the line, victory hadn’t felt sweeter. He loved this feeling, and wanted to continue to thrive in it for as long as possible.
