The Open Pro Sport race saw Taft with a similar start to that of the 250 A moto, but he couldn’t work any first lap magic. He had Forkner, McAdoo, and Mastin in front of him with Cantrell pressuring from behind and got caught in a battle with Cantrell for 4th place that lasted the majority of the race. Cantrell ended up making the move with a couple of laps
to go and Taft had to settle for 5th place. The 250 A/B All-Star race saw Taft pull the holeshot ahead of Cameron McAdoo and Austin Forkner. Forkner quickly worked his way into 2nd place and pressured Taft lap after lap, working all of the outside lines and looking for the drive out of the corners. He wasn’t rattled by Forkner airing it out next to him and constantly showing him a wheel. The robotic consistency and defensive racecraft of Taft forced Forkner into multiple mistakes which eventually saw him drop down to 5th position. Bradley brilliantly held off late pressure by McAdoo to take one of the most prestigious titles up for grabs in one of the most dramatic races of the weekend.
