years past, hoping to one day possess that type of speed. As women have slowly but surely bridged the gap of the sport between themselves and that of their male counterparts, they are pushing the brink of the sport and are in the midst of innovation with every gate drop. And that, is something that young Jorgia hopes to be apart of. Something to where she can find her niche, express her- self, and compete amongst the best in the nation, creating an iden- tity that will last a lifetime. Her immediate family and crew members realized that, so when the time for the Thanksgiving Holiday would come around, they would push aside their normal “Turkey Day” rou- tine, and head to southeastern United States. Where at exactly you might ask? That of Gainesville, Florida, a town that has breathed motocross notoriety for numerous years. It was the sight of the 2018 Winter National Olympics, and platform as big as they come for Jorgia to perform on. Contesting as many women’s classes
as she could, she rode an astonishing three classes per section, not afraid to run with the females of the Women (12+) class. She wanted to develop, and aspired to be a front-runner at the top of the sport one day. And the only way she could do that, was by pursuing the best competition out there. Her chase would start in Super- cross, where a third and sixth place finish, would position her nicely in the younger two brackets of classification. Running strong in the main event, she would walk away with a fourth, and seventh place ride respectively for her overall scores. On her quest for outdoor notoriety, she would continue to have a strong output in the Girls Sr. (12-16) division. A sixth in the opening moto would show her guts and will to hang it out, especially once the track began to get a little bit choppier. Following that, a fifth place was around the corner, yielding her fifth overall once all was said and done. For the Girls
Jr. (9-13) class, all it would come about, where a third place finish
in round number one, would be coupled with a second for the final moto! All of her hard work would pay off, and she would walk away with an exceptional second place overall finish.
RICKY RENNER
“Big Rick Renner”, or “Ricky Ross The Boss” as some may
know him as in these parts of Florida, is one of the longest, most notorious names in the Southeastern motocross scene. Since the inception of his motocross career, he has chased and tried his best

to capture his dreams, doing far beyond what he ever expected. Whether it was winning Loretta Lynn’s titles, accumulating numer- ous championships on the professional tour, or generating top finishes in the professional series, Ricky Renner has done it all in the sport. However, as of the past few years, he’s been on a bit of resurgence, absolutely terrorizing the Vet classes, and wanting to etch his legacy into the game forever. A staple at Loretta Lynn’s the past few years, Ricky really has been putting in the work, wanting to stay atop the 25+ class for as long as possible. He would continue his reign at the 2018 Winter Olympics, not too far from his home in Plant City, Florida. Choosing to run just the 25+ class, in only the motocross format, Ricky Renner was as efficient as possible in his journey to this historic race. Having to fend off the likes of James Roberts, Dustin Jensen, and Dave Ginolfi, Renner would establish his presence early on in the championship. Taking a holeshot and early lead to begin the first moto, the number 31 was trying his best to keep his number plate and attire clean, dodging any and all roost from his competitors. With James Roberts in second, the number 165 was keeping Renner honest out front, but couldn’t seem to make headway as far as getting up to the rear wheel. Once estab- lishing a lead, Renner would conserve the pace, and keep Roberts at bay for the moto’s end. For the second round of action, Renner would throw down the gauntlet. Playing no games, and leaving no room for questioning from anyone in attendance, he would holeshot and go onto set the fastest lap of the moto, on lap number three. Surging by a gap of two seconds, he would stretch the lead to a some-odd eight seconds at one point, only to finish ahead by four at the stripe, over James Roberts. Taking a clean one, one sweep, there was little to no question as to who the top dog was in the class, as Renner would walk away with yet another championship.
SAMUEL ALLEN
A native of Margate, Florida, Mr. Samuel Allen wanted to make a
trip up the road to try his hand at the 2018 Winter National Olym-
pics. An event he was accustomed to, he has made it a tradition
to skip out on the usual holiday meal at home, opting instead for a
little taste of motocross racing action. Sporting a number 929 Ka-
