>> Chad Reed started off the day setting a 54.8 second lap time for timed qualifying setting him up with a fteenth place in his session. Coming into the rst main event Chad Reed came ring out of the gate in third place. Before the rst lap concluded Reed would be passed by a blazing fast duo of Jason Anderson and Blake Baggett with Chad Reed nding himself if a top ve position he tried hard to fend off the Colorado native Eli Tomac bout Tomac would make a solid move and put the number twenty two machine back to sixth. Later in the race Reed would nd himself again trying to hold off Marvin Musquin but wouldn’t be able to hold him off getting Reed his season best with a seventh for
main number one. Coming into the second main event Chad Reed came off the line in twelfth place but made two passes on the rst lap setting up in tenth. Early in nal main event of the night Chad would be passed by Dean Wilson sending Reed into eleventh place. A charging Justin Hill made a clean pass and Reed found him self with even more company knocking on his door later in the race Kyle Chisholm would make a pass and then Vince Friese made a pass when he saw the opening knocking back Chad Reed back to fourteenth place but he would eventually gain a position due to a crash by Justin hill putting him into 13th but then again was met by Broc Tickle and Benny Bloss send- ing read back to 15th at the checkers. Coming into his two hundred twenty ninth career main event Chad Reed came out of the gate in seventh place but found himself in ninth place before the end of the rst lap. Due to a crash Chad Reed was able to pass Blake Baggett putting himself into 8th place. Chad would continue on to ride a strong and clean race but would eventually be met by Benny Bloss. Reed dug deep and tried to hold off Bloss but Bloss would eventually get by setting him backing into ninth place Chad Reeds second top ten nish of the season.
