James wasn’t wasn’t going to give up his charge until the race was over and it paid off making a pass on Anthony Rodriguez earning himself a ninth place at the nish of main event number one. Decotis Continue to charge as he did throughout the day passing Michael Mosiman getting into eleventh but James was hungry for that top ten nish and quickly was able to check off Nick Gaines putting Decotis into tenth. A mistake by Martin Davalos resulting in a crash gave Decotis the opportunity to get into ninth place and he took it, but was quickly met by the Rockstar Energy / Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Zach Os- borne putting Decotis back to tenth place. Despite getting the ninth place taken from him James was eager to get it back, James took ninth place for Chris Blose but decided that wasn’t good enough and continued to charge to the nish passing Brandon Hartranft setting himself up with an 8th place at the checkers for the third main event and a tenth overall for then night.
