Ken Roczen without a doubt came into the penultimate round in East Rutherford as the hottest rider in the 450 class. He has displayed blistering speed the past month and looked to notch back to back wins. He only managed the sixth fastest qualifying time but knew he
would be ready come race time. Roczen got off to a good start right away in the heat race with a third place start. He didn’t hesitate whatsoever and found himself whizzing by Friese and Bogle for the lead by lap two. He looked loose and
aggressive and you could just tell it was going to be his night.
