>> The classic cinema story of Rudy is very prominent in the state of Indiana, hence the location and plot to where it was filmed. Overcoming all sorts of adversity, Rudy aspires to play football at the legendary Notre Dame University, and against all odds, his hard work his returned in favor of a spot on the football team. Eerily similar to the likes of Blake Baggett, you can’t put a price on true grit, and many times the universe will reward you in place of your efforts. Landing a ride on a factory team was the goal from the time he was just a young lad, and now with that in his back pocket, it was time for a quest of championships and race win’s; and no better place to reach than the final round of the series. With the dart reflecting a plate of freshly battered brownies, the chunks of chocolate chip were being power-driven by tire tread in every which way. The track was developing nicely for the events to take place. Digging his heels in to blister
off the pad for moto number one, the pack was rampant, and he was trying to establish himself. Inside, outside, the maps of his lines were that of a snake,
but regardless, he was making it work by never choosing the same exact path twice, and piecing the track together like a rubix cube. Launching up the inaugu- ral uphill, he was floating into the stratosphere, seeming relaxed as ever, all the while pulling a subliminal tearoff, and battling with the likes of Marvin Musquin, while Herlings was fading off into the sunset. Doing all he could with the injury
he was dealing with, Baggett would secure the third ride, and look for revenge in moto two. A second place start saw him hound Marvin in the early going, yet just not being able to make the pace. As the track began to dry out, it played into the hands of his West Coast roots, but the Frenchman had the hardpack down to the T. All seemed to be well, until a surprise on lap 14 would come into effect, when the 784 would vanish around the number 4 in an instant. He could do nothing but watch, as Herlings would work his way forward, and push him to third in the moto, and third overall.
