>> After seizing his first overall victory last weekend at Budd’s Creek, young Florida native, Adam Cianciarulo arrived at Ironman with a newly found confi- dence. The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider lined up for the last first moto of the championship series hungry for a repeated win. The thirty-second board went up and AC was off to a great start and found himself in second place behind Jeremy Martin, but he would not be in second place for long. After a crash by Martin, Adam Cianciarulo was able to move into the lead. Cianciarulo danced across the ruts and bumps that littered the track, giving it all he had to hold onto his lead, while keeping a determined Zach Osborne from passing him. Cianciarulo and Osborne put on a great battle but by the midway point of the moto it was ultimately Osborne who reigned victorious, followed by Cianciarulo in second. It was now time for the very last 250 moto of the season. Lining up, Cianciarulo knew that there was a possibility of another overall win for him and he definitely proved that he was worthy of it when the gates dropped and he rocketed down the start straight away. Gaining momentum with each passing millisecond, Adam Cianciarulo was able to pull a picture perfect Holeshot. Even with his amazing start, Cianciarulo was unable to hold off the newly crowned 250 champion, Zach Osborne. Adam Cianciarulo left Ironman with a second place overall and a third place in point standings. It was truly an awesome season for the number 36. Things have finally started coming full circle for Adam Cianciarulo.
