GAGE STINE
and aimed to employ the same consistency he showed to get the job done in Hurricane Mills. The Maryland native was able to
find a healthy mix of speed and compo- sure throughout the weekend as he never strayed far from the podium, only finish- ing off the box on one occasion. Although he only earned a single moto victory through- out the three days of racing, the KTM rider came away with both titles due to his unre- lenting ability to get up front and stay there. Stine put together 2-3- 2 moto scores in the 125 (12+) B/C class
at the Brawl, earn-
ing the overall under pressure as he fended off two championship contenders in the final laps. In the Schoolboy 1 (12-17) B/C class, he got it done the other way as he led the entire race from the first lap to the check- ered flag, holding the competition at bay.
No matter the situa- tion, Stine was able
to put it together over Labor Day Weekend
at Baja Acres, earning two Leonidas Awards and two number one plates.
