Getz also had the fastest lap in all six motos, fur- ther emboldening his advantage ahead of the competition at the Brawl, as he stormed two a pair of Leonidas Awards and a couple of number one plates. The only class that he didn’t find himself on the podium was the 65 (7-11) class in which was he competing against much older competition, but he still earned a top five result against the more sea- soned riders. In both of the 65 (7-9) classes that Getz contested, he was able to earn
a pair of moto wins between them. He was most successful in the Limited class in which he earned a duo of 2nd place finishes and a 1st place in the final moto, proving that he’s composed under pressure in order to win the title. Getz is currently in the midst of transitioning to the 65cc ranks full-time and will continue to build experience on the YZ65, making him one of the more highly ranked competitors in the division moving into the next couple of years.
