LUKE FAUSER
backed rider stood on the top step of the po- dium on five occasions and captured three additional podium finishes. Although he’s still developing on the 85, he managed to grab a couple of 3rd place finishes in the (9-11) Limited class, narrowly missing out on an overall podium due to a bike problem in the final moto. In both of the 65cc class- es, Fauser was fairly unstoppable as he was only beat in one moto out of six, finish- ing in 2nd position. Otherwise he found himself at the head of the field over and over, easily marching forth to a pair of number one plates as well as
a couple of Leonidas Awards. The Orange Brigade rider’s speed and starts were dialed in all weekend long as he led every lap in the 65cc (7-11) class, setting the fastest lap in all three motos as well. Fauser has set the blueprint for his progression through the ranks with his cur- rent level of riding on the 65 and it won’t be long until he is able
to replicate the same results on the bigger bike.
