front of the pack, but he still managed to hound the podium with regularity. In the first moto, he was forced to fight back from a start outside of the top five and fortunately rebounded to an eventual 3rd place finish, doing his
best to salvage an overall results. He continued to improve and landed in 2nd position in the next moto, but an unfortu- nate error in the final moto caused him
to DNF and ruined his overall finishes. Nonetheless, Janik still managed to
rise to the occasion in the 85cc (9-11) Limited class, col- lecting a trio of wins in order to earn a Leonidas Award and a number one plate. The Kawasaki rider absolutely domi- nated the division, recording the fastest lap time in all three motos on his way to to a perfect overall score.
