>> Things have been starting to fall into place for Dakota Tedder as of late
in the season. It has been a rough year for the #151 Team Tedder/ Monster Energy/ Kawasaki rider, Tedder has been on the edge of making nearly every main event this year but just couldn’t seal the envelope. Just a weekend
ago he was able to make his first main event in the 2017 season at MetLife stadium where he went on to finish 18th. Tedder made some big mistakes in both his Heat and Semi races but was able to shake things off when it came due or die time in the Last Chance Qualifier. Dakota launched his Kawasaki 450 machine out of the gate and pulled a text book holeshot in the LCQ, he even had around 10 bike lengths on second place by the second turn. Tedder had to fend off his lead against Alex Ray in the late stages of the race to take his first LCQ win. @dakota_tedder got pinched off the start in the main and was near dead last when the riders crossed the holeshot line. The Kawasaki rider seemed to struggle with the track early on but was able regain his com- posure to work his way inside of the top 20. With under two minutes plus one lap Tedder went from 19th to 17th. Although the season has been disappoint- ing for the Tedder team it was nice for their rider to end the season on a high note with getting their machine into the main event in the final two events.
