Mr. Reynolds has never been the one to shy away from competition, regardless if he’s facing bigger
machinery or older competitors. Being so fast at such a young age has its perks and downfalls.
First up to bat was the 85cc 9-12 year old division, contesting the likes Maximus Vohland and Matthew Leblanc among countless others. The initial gatedrop found Jett in deep deep trouble, coming across the line in 29th to begin the race. Where many riders would struggle to gain multiple positions in one circuit, Jett would force the crowd to get out their pad and pen, and take notes on the art of passing, as we would jump an astounding sixteen positions on lap two! He would continue to move up throughout the moto, finishing an impressive sixth. The second moto, Jett would spin from the launchpad with a staggering speed, working his way to second by lap number two. A devastating mistake would prove costly on lap three however, as he would fall to 25th, and ultimately finish 15th. After his uncharacteristic finishes, his team thought it would be best to focus on his other endeavors amongst the 85cc classes, and not start the final race.
