#22 Chad Reed: YAMAHA
Fan favorite and Supercross legend Chad Reed is still taking names and passing the 450 class by storm on
a regular basis. Although the specific details of Reed’s 2016 Supercross plans are unknown...the word on the street is that they do exist and they are looking Blue. Chad has enjoyed an amazing career and lived an incredible story along the way. Coming full circle on the Yamaha machines, Chad is now back competing on the same bikes that he began this whole crazy journey on. Chad’s professional resume dates back to 2001 in his Austrailian National career where he snagged second place in the MX1 Motocross World Championship. With nearly twenty years under his belt, Chad Reed has been and continues to be someone that you will have to actu- ally compete against and be ready for war if you want to win. Chad’s story is very interesting, as he and his now wife literally chose to take on the world one race and country at a time. Looking back, the gambles and risks certainly paid off. Reed even took a huge step in the mo- torsports world, owning and operating his own race team in recent years. As if training and doing the “on the bike”
