What went Down
James Stewart finally made his much anticipated debut back onto the Supercross scene and fans were going wild. With all of the excitement from Anaheim 1 in the air as it was, it was electrifying to see the Golden Yellow #7 Suzuki out on the track. Stewart clicked off a smooth top five qualifying effort letting it be known early that he was the same old Bubba we all know and love. James ride in heat number two was equally impressive, sticking himself in third place and earning his position in the main event with ease. Unfortunately for James, his return to the stadiums was derailed early after a scary crash during the main event. Stewart came together with Dungey, high siding and hitting the ground hard knocking himself unconscious. The race was red flagged immediately and the fans were in shock. As JS7 made his way up and off of the track, all in attendance expressed their regret of the incident and love for James cheering and encouraging Bubba to keep his head up. James is still listed as a possibility for round two and as history shows...you can never count James out.
