#12 Jake Weimer: Team Tedder/ Monster Energy Racing
The #12 has been dawning Kawasaki race machines for quite some time and 2016 will be no different. Jake Weimer will be lining up in 2016 on a Team Tedder/ Monster Energy Racing powered Kawasaki as he readies himself
for the upcoming Supercross bout. Weimer will return to Anaheim, California once again, the same the town that he made his debut as a professional racer in back in 2006. Jake worked diligently throughout the next several seasons, learning the ropes of the whole “pro” gig and earning himself a very strong ride on Mitch’s PC squad. Weimer was just getting started however, stealing
a very convincing 250 West championship over some very talented riders in 2010 earning quite a few wins along the way as well. Weimer’s results have steadily improved or remained consistent throughout the years, allowing him to maintain amazing positions as far as race teams are concerned. Jake has been very respectable since entering the 450 ranks and 2016 looks to be no different. Weimer is entering the new year with a solid team and some new sponsors eager to help boost him further along in his journey to the highest peaks of the podium as he takes another go at the 450 Championship run.
What went Down
Jake Weimer and his Kawasaki busted into A1 sitting inside of the top ten as qualifying came to a close. Weimer got off to a similar start in the main event, pulling through around tenth when things fired up. Jake continued to fight remaining in that range the duration of the main event. Another rider to finish the same position as the number on his back, Jake put the #12 into twelfth place for the night finishing up just ahead of a pack of wicked hard chargers behind him.
