The Carolinas have bred quite a few impressive motocross racers in their day. North Carolina in particular is responsible for one of the industries most dominant up and comers. In twenty short years Cooper Webb has traversed through the motocross ranks, solidify- ing his position in line as one of the best to ever sign up. Webb has never been one to take losing lightly, refusing to settle for the sec- ond spot from a very young age. Cooper enjoyed a very impressive amateur career, experiencing great results and great support from many strong sponsors as he worked towards making it to the professional ranks. In Cooper’s final season’s as an amateur, he was absolutely on fire smoking the competition on a regular basis. At nationals across the country, 250 or 450 class, he was coming with the heat at every gate drop. Cooper has been prepared and ready to fight for wins from the beginning, stepping into the professional
ranks and giving the competition a hard time every lap along the way. Webb fought for nearly two years, earning a few wins and strong podium rides as he began the journey to becoming a seasoned professional. In 2015, Cooper’s hard work all paid off and he cashed in big for the Yamalube/ Star Racing Yamaha team. After a long battle with some of the fastest company the 250 class has to offer, Cooper earned his first major AMA pro title stealing the 250SX West Region championship and the crown. Webb’s dominating year in the west coast supercross scene warranted the opportunity to stand up and fight to regain what is rightfully his. As 2016 rolls around, so does the returning champion Cooper Webb on the #17 Yamaha. Cooper’s results recently remove all doubt that he is more than ready. Taking on the best riders across the globe in Paris and Australia recently, Webb showed the entire world what he was made of locking down big time results on the international forums. As Supercross quickly approaches one question remains...can Cooper Webb keep the momen- tum going and steal himself another big 250 title? We have all seen the displays of jaw dropping speed out of Mini Coop recently so we’d certainly recommend adding him to your roster if you are the Fantasy Supercross type.
