#18 Davi Millsaps: BTO Sports KTM
The #18 has long been associated with cham- pionship level motocross racing. Davi Mill- saps has been sporting the digits or some
variation of them virtually his entire career.
Upon reaching that number in the pro ranks Millsaps picked his story and stuck to it, familiarizing the fans with the number dear to him. The 2014 Monster Energy Cup winner has been stirring up dust in the 450 ranks for some time now. After back to back years finishing in second place overall, it’s apparent that Davi possesses the skills necessary to win and maintain a consistent ride through the series. Millsaps has been amazing as a professional since his debut however he was equally as strong as an amateur. Grabbing the 2003 Horizon Award just after a string of impressive rides at amateur nationals across the nation was a huge accomplishment, one that ultimately
set the tone for his entire professional career. Blasting into the difficult pool of professional racing was no easy task however Millsaps handled the transitions with ease and has been log- ging nothing but impressive results every since. After taking third overall in his opening supercross series, Davi came
back the following year with something to prove as he stole the 2006 AMA Supercross Lites title. An unfortunate string
of injuries held Davi back right as he was approaching some of his highest potential in the class. Remaining strong and working for more wins, Davi continued to bounce back as if nothing ever happened repeatedly. Davi left near the top and came back stronger each and every time. Healthy and ready to make the most out of 2016 and his deal with BTO Sports KTM, Millsaps has his nose to the grindstone and is putting in every effort he’s got to keep himself at the front of the pack as the 450 class hits the gate at A1.
