MaIn event 17: SCHoolBoy 2 (13-16)
Schoolboy 2 (13-16) saw yet another great title fight. Monster Energy Team Green Kawasaki teammates Joey Crown and Austin Forkner spent the latter laps going to war with one another. It was Mitchell Falk out front early on followed by Joey Crown and Ramyller Alves. By the second lap Crown had taken
the top spot. The front two remained tight until the fifth lap when Austin Forkner pounced, joining the battle for the lead working his way around Falk. The Kawasaki stablemates got as close as 0.125 at the transponder line at one point, going wide open until the end where the #35 Kawasaki came across the stripe first crowning Joey the champion! Forkner would finish one of the closest second’s of the week ahead of Orange Brigade KTM’s Mitchell Falk in third.
MaIn event 26: 450 B
Not one to fear a big jump, John “Rookie” White made the leap across the country to take on the competition at the Daytona Amateur Supercross. Rookie powered to first place early on and maintained the top spot throughout the 450 B main event. Brandon Hartranft put himself back on the podium again ripping it up coming in just short of the win in second. Max Markolf capped off a great week for Seven and the Orange Brigade pulling into the big number three spot, doin’ it for Dale in the famous Daytona infield dirt.
