>> Peyton Manning built this house on a game of precision, thorough studying, and extraordinary comprehension of the sport of football. His knowledge was incompa- rable; no one was able to figure him out. Week after week, his amount of play calling, pre-play audible, and accurate throw’s wowed fans, teammates, and even competition alike. At times, you truly have to give respect where it’s due. Luke Renzland is earning the respect of everyone in the industry. He celebrates when appropriate, but nothing over the edge; majority of the time he can be found back at his trailer studying film, or sitting in the stands, patiently watching each and every move of anyone that steps on the track; a modern day tactician so to speak. He and Manning have similarities, and although an age and experience difference, he hopes that one day he can be crowned a legend in his craft, just like Peyton is considered. It starts in Indy, and it was apparent in qualifying, wheeling over the singles prior to the rhythm sections, he was floating the back wheel wherever possible. Treading softly into the main event, it was finally time for him to try and cement his legacy amongst all the athletes that have participated on this floor. The gate would hold, building an absurd pump of adrenaline prior to its col- lapse, and then a rush of testosterone swept the first corner. Appearing as a rabid sea of wolves stampeding around the course, it was truly dog eat dog on the opening lap. Renzland appeared to have an off day of sorts; where as we’ve seen him contest for top 5’s, win Loretta’s titles, he was having trouble getting in the main event, and bat- tling inside the top 15. Following a mass of chaos, the number 50 could be seen hop- ping through the whoop section alongside John Short, Dakota Alix, and Henry Miller. He would swap with them every lap, a domino effect. The cat and mouse sequence, although giving him something to focus and chase, wasn’t allowing an optimum amount of time gained. The Yamaha and him weren’t really meshing like normal, as he seemed to be fighting in the flat turns of the Lucas Oil Stadium. And after working his way towards the top ten, a mistake in the latter moments would push him back to 14th; simply throwing all of his progress under the rug. As the checkered flag flew, he would shake his head in dismay, knowing that he was much better than his performance.
