Such a great movie, although I’m not sure if there’s relation between the amazing golf
ball whacker guy and the Iowa native. With no Bob Barker, or hockey rink around, Gilmore has
chose to lineup behind the gate for the Santa Clara round, willing to take off the skates and
replace them for a set of Gaerne’s.
On a more serious note, this man has seen it all. From the heights of winning a Loretta Lynn’s championship, to learning that he had cancer, just to be able to compete in any form is an accomplishment in itself. A true inspiration to all around, he’s provided a physical testament to what overcoming adversity really looks like.
Gilmore has made the last three main events heading into Santa Clara, even accumulating four points in the motor city. He looks to improve on the finish of last week, regardless of the tougher competition returning. Many would love to see a privateer battle it out with the big dogs, and Cody has enough talent to do so. If only he could compete in a bruins jersey...
