Smith was content to wait patiently until the last couple laps in the hope of nabbing a slipstream to
the line, but he was at a weight disadvantage to the other riders.

He found himself in second place on the final drag to the line, but he fell victim to the slipstream of Cory Ventura and was dropped back
to third position as he crossed the finish line. Smith capped off a consistent weekend with another
sixteen points, expanding his lead in the championship to thirteen as the series heads west to Utah Motorsports Campus.
