Champlin Police: Please Stop Having Sex In Parking Lots

If you're in Champlin and hankering for a bit of afternoon delight, find a more appropriate setting than a parking lot.
That's the mes- sage from Champlin Police Department, which has issued an unusual warn- ing after appar- ently responding to a report of a couple meeting for sex outside a local auto shop.
"We would like to pass along a friendly reminder to everyone look- ing for some alone time with a
sweetheart to please avoid any romantic entan-
glement in busy parking lots dur- ing normal busi-
ness hours," Champlin PD said on its Facebook
page.
"While we under-
stand the cold weather can leave few options for finding some privacy in the moment, we would like to clari- fy that yes, you will draw suspi- cion when people can see you.
"You know, because it’s noon. And you’re in an autobody parking lot.
"Plus, nothing kills the mood quite like Officer Irish tapping on your window. So please, save your sweetie the embarrassment and find some- where private for any canoodling."
