Patient Has Biggest Clump of Earwax You’ve Ever Seen Removed

A patient has the ‘world’s longest chunk of earwax’ pulled from his head in what is guaran- teed to be the most disgusting video you will watch today.
Consultant audi- ologist Neel Raithatha pulled the brown clump out of the ear canal of his patient to find it measured 2.5cm.
That length is particularly
impressive, con- sidering the average ear canal only measures around 3cm.
Neel, from The Hear
Clinic & Clearwax in Leicestershire, said he was stunned when he tackled the monster block- age on February 22.
Using endo- scopic cup suc- tion, Neel took hold of the wax, which was blocking the
patient’s ear canal, and removed it in one whole piece.
He said: ‘Both the client and I were in com- plete shock. ‘My reaction upon removal was “wow” and the client’s reaction when he saw the piece of ear wax himself was to say “oh my goodness”.
‘Fortunately, the eardrum was intact and healthy.’
