A mum has got people puzzled after disclosing her son’s weight when she gave birth to him.
A TikTok user, @tawnee117, asked moms to share their expe- rience of giving birth to big babies – and one mum surely responded.
A Tiktok user, @shans1588, replied to the video, disclosing that her 2nd son actually weighed about six and a half kg at birth.
Shans later shared a photo of her son in a video that has more than 28.8 million views. It was a picture of the baby almost immediately he
was birthed with two doctors help- ing – and viewers were so surprised and could not believe it.
“At thirty eight weeks, one day, I had my 2nd son through C-section with 2 doctors helping.
“As he came in at a huge fourteen pounds, point 6 ounces,” – that’s just over 6.5kg.
Also, he was
almost 60cm long.
“Right,” she says. “I birthed a tod- dler, who later spent eleven days in the NICU.”
“Where, appar- ently, he hap- pened to be the biggest baby there.
“There was even no diapers or clothes for him at the NICU, they had to go to pedi- atrics, upstairs, to get size 3 diapers while he came home in size 6 to 9 months baby clothing, .”
Since the video was posted, it has attracted not less than 7.1 million likes and 103,000 comments from astonished view- ers who joked he actually looked
like a full-grown adult.
One person post- ed: “He has already gotten a credit score.”
Another said: “So sorry but we’ll have to see the baby now.”
And: “He’s being held like a prize- winning bass,” joked in another comment.
In another video as a follow-up, Shan said that her now-5-year- old boy is whole- some and happy.
“Our 14.6 pounds baby boy J is a wholesome, very stubborn and AGILE 5-year-old. He loves football, Monster Trucks and baseball,” she said.
