A trip to the DMV is never at the top of anyone’s list of ways to spend an afternoon. Still, it’s a nec- essary evil of adult life.
The DMV is a place for rules,
one of the most common ones is that you are not allowed to smile in your picture for your driver’s license. In Cleveland, the DMV there has decided to make a small alteration to their camera setup to
ensure that citi- zens follow this rule.
Specifically, they taped a photo
of LeBron James in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey to the camera that takes the dri- ver’s license photos.
An Arkansas woman has been charged with cap- ital murder after she admitted to fatally shooting her husband because he repeatedly pur- chased video pornography.
Patricia Hill, 69, called 911 on Saturday after- noon around 3pm in Jefferson County to report that she had shot her husband Frank, 65, according to a police statement.
Responding deputies found Patricia in the backyard and immediately detained her.
Frank's body was found on the floor of a shed on the property, having suffered at least two gunshot wounds to the leg and head.
Paramedics transported Frank to the hospital where he was pronounced dead around 3.15pm.
Patricia was taken into cus- tody, where she waived her rights and agreed to speak with inves- tigators.
She revealed that while she and Frank had never had any physical altercations, they had recently got- ten into a dis- agreement when she noticed he had purchased pornographic videos through their cable provider.
Patricia cancelled that order but later discovered Frank had placed it again.
'Mrs Hill stated that she entered the shed and asked her hus- band to leave but he refused. Mrs Hill admitted that
she then returned inside the resi- dence, where she armed herself with a .22 caliber pistol.
'She went back to the shed a short time later, where she entered and shot her husband twice, striking him once in the leg and once in the head.
'Immediately fol- lowing the shoot- ing, Mrs Hill stat- ed that she returned inside the residence, where she returned the weapon and called 911 to report the shoot- ing.'
Hill is currently being held with- out bail Saturday at the Jefferson County jail.
