Van Buren Man Shot To Death By His Own Booby Trap
Pringles Wants You To Use Its Gaming Headset That Feeds You Chips
By Zax Ma
Once you pop, you just can’t stop. At least Pringles is hoping you won’t stop, not even while you’re gaming.
The famous pota- to chip brand, owned by Kellogg, just released a chip- dispensing gam- ing headset that automatically feeds you its patented stack- able chips. The headset is appro- priately called the “Hunger Hammer”. Its 3D- printed swivel arm is the key to its core function of helping you snack
without having to pause your game. It’s perfect for intense online matches, espe- cially for competi- tive gamers.
The Hunger Hammer’s release is the result of a part- nership with Xbox Games Studios to promote
their Gears
5 video game. As such, cans of Pringles will include a special code that can be used in-game.
Popular online gamers like Criken, DexBonus, and Strippin have been testing out
the headset on Twitch, often to hilarious effect.
While ads for the device have gone viral, it’s unclear if and when it will be available to the masses. It currently seems to be in a proto- type stage of development, if not simply a mar- keting tool. The concept looks cool enough that with some minor improvements it could catch on.
What do you think? Would you use the Hunger Hammer or some- thing similar?

VAN BUREN — Police say a Maine man was shot to death by a homemade secu- rity device in his home.
Van Buren police say 65-year-old Ronald Cyr dialed 911 to say he’d been shot.

An investigation by state and local police determined that Cyr was fatally injured by the unintentional
discharge of one of his homemade devices.
According to police, Cyr was taken to a local hospital, where he was pro- nounced dead.
Further details weren’t immedi- ately available. Van Buren is on the Canadian bor- der, about 320 miles from Portland.
