Lots Of Dick Fish Hit The Beach In A Mass Hard Die Off
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Thousands of pulsing pink worms were recently spotted on Drakes Beach in Marin County. The mass strand- ing was reported on Dec. 6, after a storm in the Bay Area.
The fat innkeeper worm, also known as "penis fish," is a type of spoon- worm that is found from south- ern Oregon to Baja California, with most sight- ings reported between Bodega Bay and Monterey, accord- ing to biologist
Ivan Parr, who wrote about the phenomenon in Bay Nature mag- azine.
The worms
build U-shaped burrows in the muddy sand of low-zone mud- flats, according to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Food, shelter and water pumped by the worms attract other creatures such as the arrow goby, pea crabs and scale worms.
Countless fat innkeeper worms have washed ashore elsewhere over the years,
from Pajaro Dunes in Santa Cruz County to Princeton Harbor in San Mateo County, said Parr, who credited strong storms.
"Well, we're see- ing the risk of building your home out of sand," Parr said. "Strong storms – especially during El Niño years – are perfectly capable of laying siege to the inter- tidal zone, break- ing apart the sedi- ments, and leav- ing their contents stranded on shore."
Pregnant Wife Uses Husband As Her Chair

A Chinese man in Hegang is now a viral sensation after becoming a ‘human chair’ for his pregnant wife to sit on in a crowded hospital.
The married cou- ple were waiting to see the doctor when the preg- nant woman began feeling muscle cramps and fatigue. The weight of her stomach was too much to bear.
Unfortunately, all of the chairs in the room were occupied, and
nobody so much as offered the struggling woman a seat.
Her husband decided to take matters into his own hands when he sat on the floor and offered his wife to to lean on his back for support.
The expectant mother sat on her husband’s back after he told her to while holding onto a railing on the wall.
As she sat on his back, he even passed a water bottle to her to
keep her hydrat- ed during the long wait.
Local police were so touched by the incident caught on security cam- eras that
they posted video of it to their official
account where it quickly went viral. Besides praising the devoted hus- band, they also offered criticism of the onlookers who didn’t help.
