One day the first grade teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class.
She came to the part of the story where the first pig was trying to accu- mulate the building materials for his home.
She read,"...and so the pig went up to the man with the wheel barrow full of straw and said, "Pardon me sir, but may I have some of that straw to build my house?"
The teacher paused then asked the class, "And what do you think that man said?"
One little boy raised his hand and said, "I think he said “Holy Sh*t! A talking pig!'"
The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 min- utes.
After shopping in a mall, a couple returns to find their car has been stolen.
They go to the police station to make a full report.
Then, a detective drives them back to the parking lot to see if any evidence can be found at the scene of the crime.
To their amaze-
ment, the car has been returned.
There is an enve- lope on the wind- shield with a note of apology and two tickets to a music concert.
The note reads, "I apologize for taking your car, but my wife was having a baby and I had to hot-wire your igni- tion to rush her to the hospital. Please forgive the incon- venience. Here are two tickets for tonight's concert of Garth Brooks, the country-and-west- ern music star."
Their faith in humanity restored, the couple attend the concert and return home late.
They find their house has been robbed.
Valuable goods have been taken from thoughout the house, from base- ment to attic.
And, there is a note on the door read- ing, "Well, you still have your car. I have to put my kid through college somehow, don't I?"
A teacher asked her 11 year old stu- dents what they would like to be when they're older.
She glazed around for a while, looking for who to answer
her question and settled on a boy named Johnny.
Johnny swiftly rose to his feet to give a response to the teacher's question, confidently replied that he would love to be a billionaire who lives a luxuri- ous life when he grows up. He also added that all that money, his girl- friend, or wife would have access to the fine things of life.
Johnny listed a very expensive Ferrari, a luxury apartment in Hawaii, a mansion in Paris, a jet to travel around the world, and an infi- nite credit card as some of the things his future partner would enjoy when he becomes a bil- lionaire.
The little boy's response came as a shock to the teacher who had expected a better reply from her stu- dent.
She continued with the lesson and went on to ask another student, Susie, what she would like to be when she grows up.
Young Susie then stood up and responded, saying, "I wanna be mar- ried to Johnny."
World's Largest Electric Plane Takes 28-minute First Flight
By Ben Hooper
May 29 (UPI) -
- The world's largest all-elec- tric aircraft took off from a Washington state airstrip for its first flight, staying in the air for 28 minutes, the plane's makers said.
The eCaravan plane, a modified Cessna Caravan 208B, was creat- ed by a collabo- ration between engine company magniX and
aerospace firm AeroTEC. It took its first flight Thursday in an event that was livestreamed on Facebook.
The companies said the electric plane is more environmentally friendly and costs less to operate than its fossil fuel-pow- ered counter- parts.
"As the world's largest all-elec- tric aircraft, this first flight is a
significant mile- stone in disrupt- ing the trans- portation industry and accelerating the electric avia- tion revolution," magniX said in announcing the flight, which took off from an airstrip in Moses Lake.
A smaller plane with a magniX electric
engine took its first 15-minute flight in December 2019.
