Lyn May Announces
She's Pregnant at 68

Mexican actress Lyn May has announced that she is pregnant at the age of 68, revealing that she is set to have a baby with her 29-year-old partner, Markos D1.
The screen star took to Instagram on Sunday to make the revelation to her 163,000 followers as she shared a series of photos of herself pos- ing with musician Markos D1.
Captioning the images, which showed the couple out and about at vari- ous events, May wrote in Spanish: "I am very happy to announce that I am 3 months pregnant and @markosd1official is very happy that he will be a dad."
For his part, Markos D1 took to his own Instagram account hours later to share an image of himself posing with Lyn May, alongside the hashtag
"#2019"—believed to be the year that the two embarked on their relationship.
Should May's purport- ed pregnancy safely make it to full term, she would comfort- ably break the Guinness World Record of the oldest woman to have given birth.
On December 29, 2006, Maria del Carmen Bousada Lara took the
title when she gave birth to twin boys, Christian and Pau, by caesarean section in
Barcelona, Spain, when she was aged 66 years and 358 days.
Bousada, who passed away in 2009, con- ceived her children through IVF treatment in the U.S., after say- ing that she she was 55 years old. She had previously been rejected for treatment in Spain.
Ficheras cinema star May, real name Lilia Mendiola de Chi, was previously married to Antonio Chi-Xuo from 1989 until his death in 2008. The same year
Chi-Xuo died, she married Guillermo Calderon Stell.
Meanwhile, according to his website, Markos D1 is a Los Angeles-based musi- cian, model and "suc- cessful beauty indus- try entrepreneur."
A biography for Markos D1, who turned 30 on August 29, reads: "As the owner of the Markos D1 hair salon chain in California, Markos who has always had an eye for fashion and beauty, has hand- picked and success-
fully assembled a tal- ented team of hair stylists and make-up artists.
"Led by him, his team of stylists has been using their skills to beautify West Coast clients since 2009.
"But aside from his company's large pool of talented cosmetolo- gists, Markos D1 salons also carry a full line of Markos D1 branded cosmetics; a custom brand of make-up products customers love and ask for by name."
