IT’S AUGUST ALREADY and we’re still at Alert Level 1.
After these several weeks of reduced alertness, it feels almost like normality, speaking personally, but I guess that’s both a comfort and a danger.
It’s comforting that we can be out and about and enjoying this ne country.
But it’s also dangerous to assume it’ll be “business as usual” or that we’ll be “back to normal” any time soon.

Compared to countries where the pandemic persists, we’re in a good position, but we mustn’t take it for granted.
