HUSKY UPDATES AUTOMOWER RANGE
First of two new Husqvarna Automowers is the Automower 535 AWD
(photo below). With all-wheel-drive and developed for professional use, the 535 AWD will take care of lawns up to 3,500m2 and navigate obstacles, tough terrain and slopes of up to 70% (35˚). Adapted for public installations with simplified control for easy interaction, 535 AWD includes object detection and remote control, not to mention surveillance, thanks to Husqvarna Fleet Services.
Husqvarna Automower 550 (photo above) is also designed for professional fleet use and comes with remote control, including theft tracking through Husqvarna Fleet Services, as well as full mower control and configuration via smartphone. Its GPS-assisted navigation and weather timer ensures uniform coverage of complex lawns, while automatically adapting mowing frequency to lawn growth, so Automower 550 can handle all types of lawns and manage steep slopes up to 45% (24°) even in rainy conditions. Comes with Remote Object Detection for higher mowing speed and area capacity.
On top of all this, coming soon to Automower 550 and some other Automower models is Husqvarna’s proprietary smartphone and app-based EPOS (Exact Positioning Operating System)
technology. EPOS uses satellite-based technology,
enabling compatible mowers to work within
highly accurate virtual boundaries without
physical boundary wires anywhere there’s
a large area of turf to be maintained.
