THE ENGINEERED FLOORING SYSTEM
Combines the versatility of timber AND the strength of steel
OPEN WEB DESIGN
Posi-STRUTTM provide excellent access for services whilst making them lighter and quicker to install than solid timber joists or steel alternatives.
Plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning/ducting are easily accommodated by the ingenious 'open web' system. Forget cutting through solid timber joists and reducing their strength; Posi-STRUT trusses make difficult access a thing of the past.
TOP CHORD SUPPORT
No other Joist boasts of 'Top Chord Support'. This means in many cases there is no need for expensive joist hangers and custom brackets as are required for installation of other floor systems.
SPAN AND INSTALLATION
Posi-STRUT trusses can be manufactured in lengths up to 8 metres, with either 70mm, 90mm or 140mm wide chords, depending on the load-bearing requirements. They can span large open areas with minimum use of internal supports, making them the ideal solution for open-plan designs.
Posi-STRUT trusses can also be specifically designed and engineered for special projects and tailor-made to accommodate special support conditions like hidden steel beams.
The wide chord surface ensures easier fixing and enables the truss to be placed upright without needing temporary bracing.
Posi-STRUT floors provide a rigid floor structure that is even and uniform. The unique strongback bracing system used with Posi-STRUT floors tie adjacent Posi-STRUT trusses together to minimise bounce.
USAGE
Popular in residential construction—Posi-STRUTS make excellent rafters and floor joists.
Ideal for multi-storey projects and sloping sites, Posi-STRUT floor systems help avoid the need for cut & fill, and costly retaining wall structures.
Posi-STRUTS now offer quick and efficient building solutions to a vast array of commercial and light industrial projects. They are cost-effective and easy to install. Not only that, they can be easily formed into floor cassettes to achieve even higher building efficiencies.
